RETURNS & WARRANTY

What is your return policy?
Returns are for warranty repair only. Your window treatment is custom made to your exact measurement and specifications, and all sales are final. When you follow our measuring instructions, we guarantee your product will fit. We also offer free color swatches on most products so that you can see the exact materials and color prior to placing your order.

If you make a mistake in measuring or ordering, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-474-9404 within seven days of delivery. Depending on the error, you may return the product for size reduction or we can have it remade for you at a discounted price.

I made a mistake on my order. Can I return the shades?
As all orders placed through our website are custom, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Depending on the mistake, however, our Customer Service department may be able to have the manufacturer make modifications to correct the error.

What if some of my blinds were damaged during shipping?
Upon receipt of your order, immediately open and inspect it thoroughly for any manufacturing defect or shipping damage. If you find your product damaged or defective, please contact our Customer Service department immediately at 1-800-474-9404. If the product requires replacement, you will be given a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) and a shipping address to return the products. Returns must have an RGA number to be accepted by the manufacturer.

How do I return my order?
If you find your product incorrect, damaged or defective, please contact our customer service department within seven days of delivery at 1-800-474-9404. If your product is determined to be incorrect, damaged or defective, the manufacturer will repair or replace the units.

What type of warranty is there on your products?
Every custom ordered purchased from THE SHADE DESIGNERS is backed by a factory warranty. For details on a particular warranty please visit our Brand Warranties page.

How do I order parts for my products I ordered from THE SHADE DESIGNERS?
Please contact our customer service department at 1-800-474-9404. We will help assist you in locating your order, the exact product and the parts needed for your blind(s).

Can I use Bill Me Later (BML) for repair charges?
No. We do not have BML set up for repairs. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover for all repair orders if it is not covered by the warranty.
