CUSTOM WINDOW PRODUCTS

What do you mean by custom made products?
Your window treatment is custom made based on your measurements and specifications to fit your window. This means production of your blinds does not happen until you place your order.

Why are custom products better than what I can get at my local store?
Custom products  are made based on the measurements you provide so they fit better. Our custom window treatments are of top quality and come in a much wider range of colors, styles and options than traditional stock window treatments. Our superior production process and premium materials help extend the life of your window treatments, as well as provide a superb product that complements your other home furnishings.

Can I send you my own fabric to make my shades?
For quality purposes, our manufacturers only produce window treatments with the fabrics shown on our website. These fabrics have all been tested for durability and customer satisfaction.

What does color coordinated or complimenting components mean?
Color coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. All components are predetermined by the manufacturer and will not necessarily be of the same exact coordinated color. If you have any questions please call our sales team prior to placing your order.

Why is the headrail a different color from my blind?
Headrails come in a limited number of colors and are color coordinated with the shade material by each of the manufacturers. Paints, stains and dyes may look different when applied to different materials due to the material's ability to absorb color. Variation of color is normal and should be expected. Some specialty headrails only come in white and will be noted on our website.

What is light leakage or light seepage?
Light leakage or seepage is inherent to some products. Blinds typically do not form a perfect seal between slats to block out all light, and longer blinds will have less closure at the bottom of the blinds. This is normal and should be expected.

Why don't my sheer shades close perfectly or block out all the light?
Sheer shades, even in room darkening fabrics, are not designed to block out all light. Longer shades will have less closure at the bottom of the blinds. This is normal and should be expected.
